As a mediator and former mayor of Manzanita , Oregon, I can bring non-adversarial
problem solving skills to Santa Cruz County. My years of service as both the Director of the Conciliation Court in LA County for 17 years and Family Court Services in Portland, Oregon for 5 years have given me a depth of experience
in the workings of local government. As a mediator and administrator
for the courts for over 25 years, I have had extensive experience successfully resolving complex disputes. As a member of two State appointed task forces, I helped develop legislation reforming family law
introducing mediation to the California and Oregon Courts.
